On the 125th anniversary of the Royal Belgian Notary Federation, one new project will permit people to complete notary processes via video chat. The minister of the Federation asserts that this move will allow people to save time, as it no longer requires signers and notaries public to be in the same place.

The new project also aims to create an inheritance database for public notaries, which would greatly simplify the notary research system in Belgium. This system would allow people to accept or deny inheritances directly through a notary public, which will lighten the workload of employees in federal courts.
