Regarding the Executive Order Temporarily Allowing Remote Online Notarizations and Attestations in Georgia

As of now, the State of Georgia is operating under Governor Kemp’s Executive Order 04.09.20.01 during the COVID-19 pandemic.  This order allows notary publics who are Georgia attorneys or notary publics operating under the supervision of a Georgia attorney to use audio/visual technology such as a video conference call to confirm the identity of the person signing a document without the signee being in the physical presence of the notary public.

At Atlanta Notaries, we prefer in-person notarizations over remote online notarizations in order to expedite the notary process.  Our office is currently following CDC guidelines to prevent the spread of Covid-19 including deep cleaning all surfaces, asking all clients to wash their hands with soap and water before entering, and requiring our staff to wear masks, gloves, and face shields around clients.  We also offer mobile notary services where we can come to your office at your convenience. If you are interested in or in-office or mobile notary services, please contact us at (404) 437-9295.  Thank you for your understanding and patience during this time.
